Gwen Stefani x Urban Decay

One of the most awaited collaborations in the cosmetics world is finally available for everyone to shop! And of course, I'm talking about the collection that the super well-known Gwen Stefani designed and developed for Urban Decay - yeah, that one brand really famous for the Naked Palettes!

Two months ago, UD launched the Gwen Stefani Eyeshadows Palette and it was a major success! Between the 15 shades that this paltette offers - some brand new colours and some just classics from the very well-known Urban Decay shades - you will be able to find a lot of neutral colours but also some more vibrant ones! This is what make this palette so much wearable, you could wear it to work, for a night out with the girls, on a date, to church... Just whenever and wherever you want to go, you can use this palette alone. This was the palette that started all this fever!

Hot Trend Alert | Haircuts

HOT TRENDS ALERT! And since 2016 is probably the perfect time for a little change - otherwise we'll keep postponing it until the neverland - why not start with a different haircut and give ourselves a little makeover? There are 4 haircuts that were super trendy in 2015 and will keep that way this year because they are just awesome and it seems that almost all celebrities are joining them...

Since the first time it appeared, BOB never left us and never went unfashionable although his many variations - with bangs, with beachy waves, straight... The most recent variation of this super trendy haircut is the LOB (longer bob), a more secure option for whom wants to change their look but is just too scared to go for the radical bob! Definitely a huge trend at the moment and we can see a lot of celebrities with this beautiful and smooth cut.

Golden Globes 2016

Red carpet season is finally here and the first major event? The 2016 edition of the Golden Globes in Beverly Hills, California. Having in mind that Golden Globes boasts the world's biggest stars from both TV and movies, it's pretty understandable if you don't know where to look first. Plus, this year's red carpet was filled with beautiful gowns from the most exiting and influential dressers on the planet! One thing that it's sure: glamour was everywhere during the whole night!

We should totally start by the arrivals at the red carpet and everything related with it: the dresses, the jewels, the shoes... Thankfully I got my life together and organised a bunch of red carpet's outfit according to their characteristics - colours, mostly - in this post so you can compare every single look and don't miss out a thing. Let's dream big from our computer screens, shall we?!

Oysho Sales

Finally I had some time to head over to some shops to take a look at their sales - because university and exams, I still haven't checked out everything that I wanted but I'll get there soon, hopefully. During my flash trip, I went to Oysho and picked out some things that I needed and that I
immediately felt in love with - a pyjama bottoms and some underware.

TAG | Make Up Tag

Finally I had the time to answer this amazing tag for which Miss Coquete named me! I really hope you'll like to know me a little bit more through out this tag

1. How do you feel more powerful - with nude make up or vibrant make up?
I don't think I need to use make up to feel powerful at all but, if I have to choose between these 2 different types of make ups, I think I feel more powerful with a more neutral make up! "No makeup make up" is my favourite look because it's super simple and at the same time everything is just flawless. Less is more, I would say,

2. Are you a make up addict?
I would go for a 50/50. I love make up and I have a quite big collection, I spend many hours (I must confess) watching beauty youtubers going through Sephora hauls and tutorials and all that kind of stuff but I don't use make up on me on a daily basis... I like to try on new stuff and play around with it but I don't feel like wearing it every single hour of the day, there's no need.

3. How often do you use make up?
Well, it totally depends on my daily mood but I don't use it to much for university for example. I prefer wearing it on weekends, special occasions, when I'm going out, etc.

4. Do you think some make ups are restricted to some ages?
I don't think so. As long as people know how to use make up, I think it can be pretty versatile

5. Recommend a drugstore brand and high end brand that totally worth the hype
My go-to drugstore brand has to be Catrice because all their products are just awesome! The price is super affordable and almost all of their products (or at least, almost every single ones that I tried out) have really good quality. At the moment, my pick when it comes to a high end brand is Urban Decay! Their products are just amazing! They have the best palettes with the best eye shadows, super "blendable" and stunning colours. To be honest, I really like all the Naked collection - I'm loving their Naked Skin foundation, it's pretty good!

6. What's your favourite lipstick at the moment?
I have to go for Melted, from Too Faced, in the colours Melted Ruby and Sugar - I can't just pick one out. They are a little bit pricey but still, they totally worth the hype.

7. Tell us what product you don't save on the purchase
I think it's really important to have a great foundation - that's the one thing I can't help myself from buying! I'm always looking for the perfect one, that stays flawless during the whole day! That's why I have so many and keep buying them (tell me in the comments if you would like to see some reviews from all the foundations that I have or maybe my top?!)

8. Tell us what you don't like to see in you but that you like to see in other people
I can't figure out a thing that I don't like to use... There are some colours that I don't like as eyeshadows like blues and greens and fuchsias but I don't hate it... But actually I'm more a nude/metallic/bold colours person.

9. What's the brand more abundant in your collection?
I have a lot of products from Catrice (of course), KIKO and Benefit.

10. Name some other bloggers do join the tag

[Here's the post in Portuguese to the Portuguese bloggers that I tagged]

Sales 101

The sales are BACK which means that all the money that we got during the holidays and that we promised that we would be saving is about to be spent in our favourite shops - the accuracy, am I right? Although, during the craziness of the sales, I think it's important to keep our mind in the right place so we don't end up buying a lot of useless pieces and spending unnecessary money on things we don't need at all. So, I put together some "rules" that are my motto during the sales and that hopefully will also help you out while you're shopping or planning that out.

1. Clean out your closet
You need to be totally aware about what you already have in your closet so you need to take some time to break apart what's old or in a bad state from what's is pretty good and "wearable" that can be donated to someone or to some organization.

2. Organize your closet
From colours, types, designer, it's totally up to you the way how you want your closet to be organised as long as it is actually in order before you go shopping. This is the only way for you to keep in mind what you already own and what is really missing in your closet.

3. Do some research
Internet is a world and you need to take advantage of it. Thankfully, every single brand has its online shop so it's really easy for us to see what they have or what's trending at the moment! Spend some time browsing your favourite shops online to get some ideas about what's worth buying and to look for some great deals

4. Make a list
After cleaning and organizing your closet, you're ready to start planning your "shopping spree" through the sales. Think about what you like to wear, what you mostly wore last year and the new trends for the coming season and write down a list with some items that cross your mind that you really want.

5. Details are important
Don't go only for clothes (like dresses, tops, jeans...)! Accessories are as just important in our lives so the sales are the perfect time to buy some new accessories: a new bag, some bracelets or a pair of shoes can make your look even better and they usually last for a long time

6. Keep it simple
Sales are the best time of the year to look for some new basic pieces for your closet. Why is that? Well, you're spending less money in pieces that you'll be wearing over and over again so, it's basics are even a greater value for money during this time of the year. Jeans, coats, jackets, t-shirts... Everything is just super useful through out the whole year and some of them could be acquired for  a great value.

7. Quality is not the same as quantity
Just because it's on sale, it doesn't mean that you don't need every single piece that you see. This is why planning your shopping is so important - this way you really have in mind what you want and what you need! Of course that is really easy to fall in love with everything when the price is half of the original but the real question is "do I really need this or I'm just being tempted?"

8. Set a limit
As much as you think you've got your willpower and credit card in check, you need to establish yourself a limit otherwise you'll be spending a lot of unnecessary money. Above all, don’t go over it - no matter how much you “need” another dress.
