Desi Perkins x Quay Australia

The amazing collection by Quay in collaboration with Desi Perkins is now available for sale - I mean, at the moment is sold out and I'm pretty sure you understand why having in mind you beautiful and trendy are all the 4 pairs designed by Desi (but it will come back soon). Desi Perkins is a beauty guru that runs this Youtube channel and, with her husband, they also run this Youtube channel. I really like her and her videos and I have to say that she slays every social media, specially Instagram (@desiperkins) and snapchat (@desiperkins)! She presented her collection in collaboration with Quay in this video which bring us to sigh and dream about having every single pair of this collection.
HIGH KEY (top photos) cames in two different colours: gold or black. They are the classic pair of aviator glasses with a metal frame and mirrored lenses. They are huge and still, super

versatile and easy to style! Desi said that this pair has to be one of her favourites since see is the hugest fan of aviator sunglasses!
On the bottom left you have ON THE LOW, available in black, with a polycarbonate and metal frame, is probably the most discrete pair from them all even though it's still a super fashionable pair and. On the bottom right you have one of the most wanted pairs, TYSM, a cat eye pair of glasses with a metal and polycarbonate frame in black colour with the lenses in mint. This one is actually one of my favourites from Desi's collection, it's super different and original and I just love the cat eye effect with the mint mirrored lenses. Summer Affair

Summer is coming and so it's the time of getting off the closet our summer shoes! Between sandals, heels, ballerinas and flats, you shouldn't forget one of the biggest hits when it comes to summer shoes: the Alpargatas! This Spanish inspired shoe is super comfortable and trendy and, after all, amongst all the available patterns and brands the hard part will be for sure not spending all your money in every single pair that you see. Personally I love wearing Alpargatas, they are like my go-to shoes almost every day during Summer time, I wear them to the beach, to go on a walk or to a night out, they're literally my Summer affair. MET Gala 2016

Last Monday, May 2, took place in New York the 2016 edition of the Met Gala, the annual fundraising gala for the benefit of Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in New York City. Each year's event celebrates the theme of that year's Costume Institute exhibition, and the exhibition sets the tone for the formal dress of the night since guests are expected to choose their fashion to match the theme of the exhibit. This year's theme was "Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology" since the upcoming exhibition will focus on the dichotomy between handmade haute couture and machine-made fashion. In my opinion, this was one of the greatest galas ever with beautiful gowns, including the LED dress from Claire Danes and plenty of metallics. Golden Globes 2016

Red carpet season is finally here and the first major event? The 2016 edition of the Golden Globes in Beverly Hills, California. Having in mind that Golden Globes boasts the world's biggest stars from both TV and movies, it's pretty understandable if you don't know where to look first. Plus, this year's red carpet was filled with beautiful gowns from the most exiting and influential dressers on the planet! One thing that it's sure: glamour was everywhere during the whole night!

We should totally start by the arrivals at the red carpet and everything related with it: the dresses, the jewels, the shoes...
