Last Monday, May 2, took place in New York the 2016 edition of the Met Gala, the annual fundraising gala for the benefit of Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in New York City. Each year's event celebrates the theme of that year's Costume Institute exhibition, and the exhibition sets the tone for the formal dress of the night since guests are expected to choose their fashion to match the theme of the exhibit. This year's theme was "Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology" since the upcoming exhibition will focus on the dichotomy between handmade haute couture and machine-made fashion. In my opinion, this was one of the greatest galas ever with beautiful gowns, including the LED dress from Claire Danes and plenty of metallics. One of the greatest festivals ever is now back! Of course, I'm talking about Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the festival that is both about concerts and it girls wearing the trendiest clothes!!!
